Benefits to the Community
 Wildhaven also provides a variety of benefits to the local mountain communities, including the following:
     
          • Wildhaven Ranch serves as a tourist destination that draws consumers to the San Bernardino Mountains
               and invigorates business in the local community.
          • Wildhaven has been named by the Department of Agriculture to serve as the wild animal nuisance 
               troubleshooter for the San Bernardino Mountains. Our staff provides skillful assistance and advice 
               for nuisance wildlife problems.
          • As a qualified Volunteer Center, Wildhaven Ranch provides a workplace for students and those on 
               probation who need community service, as well as for veterinary assistants who need hands-on 
               experience. Internship for college students are available during the spring and summer.
          • Wildhaven provides meaningful volunteer opportunities for residents of all ages...especially retiree's 
               and young people. Wildhaven Ranch also serves as a project site for Eagle Scout, Boy Scout and 
               Girl Scout badge requirements. 
           • The Ranch includes the “Coyote Loop Trail” for public hiking, biking (non-motorized) and
                horse-back riding.
